Bill S-211 Report
Introduction
On January 1, 2024, the new Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act came into effect in Canada.
This important legislation was introduced to encourage businesses to improve their practices. It requires certain government and private-sector entities to report on the measures they take to prevent and reduce the risk of forced labour or child labour occurring at any point in their supply chains.
CR Wall is fully compliant with the Act and takes its responsibilities seriously. We are committed to promoting ethical, sustainable, and socially responsible business practices. We have established corporate policies and due diligence processes to assess and mitigate forced and child labour risks within our supply chains.
As part of the Act’s requirements, organizations must submit their reports to the Minister of Public Safety by May 31 each year and publish them on their websites.
